Text Box: Q)    How long will it take to get the chair back?
A)    Usually a 2 - 3 week turn around time, depending on the time of year and if materials are in stock.
Q)    The frame of my chair is broke can you fix it?
A)    No, but Hillhurst Fix & Finish can.  I can coordinate all that for you, getting the chair repaired and then do the caning.
Q)    My Seat was painted before, should I paint it again?
A)    No, painting the material will make the seat dry out faster and will not last as long/
Q)    How long will a seat last?
A)    On average a seat will last 20 - 30 years, if taken care of.
Q)    What can I do to make my seat last longer?
A)    For cane and splints you can put boiled linseed oil and turpentine 1/2 & 1/2  on the top and bottom every six months this will help stop it from drying out.
